Week 3 College Football Recap

Week 3 of college football is in the books and was another successful week of ball. Another week of upsets and fans lined up at 5AM for College Gameday. We even saw Herm Edwards get fired on the field after losing to a MAC team at home. Here are my reactions and thoughts to Week 3.

- Appalachian State was BUMPING all day on Saturday. College Gameday going to a non Power 5 school is always good because the fans show out, and App State did. Even great signs about Texas A&M. And to put the cherry on top, App State wins on a hail mary against their rival. No better way to script that up.

- KANSAS FOOTBALL IS BACK. 3-0 BABY.

- Johnny Wilson is fun to watch. The 6'7 wide receiver for the Florida State Seminoles is a nightmare problem. Louisville had no answer for him and other teams in the ACC won't have an answer either.

- Both Oregon State and Washington State are 3-0.

- Michael Penix is HIM. Penix was balling on Saturday, and Washington looks like legit contenders in the PAC-12.

- Are basketball schools now football schools? Duke, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Syracuse all are 3-0.

- Michigan State needs a new defensive coordinator. Scottie Hazelton has been the defensive coordinator for three seasons now and the defense has not done much. If Michigan State wants to win the big games and get over the hump, it starts with firing Scottie Hazelton.

- The Big Ten is top heavy and the rest are not good. Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Minnesota, and Michigan State look to compete in the Big Ten. Everyone else, I have no idea what is going on.

- Schools need to stop hiring coaches that retired and end up on TV. Herm Edwards was never the man for the job and the experiment finally came to an end. YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME, HELLO?

- Brent Venables looks to be the hire of the year. Oklahoma looks good.

- Bijan Robinson is going to be a future NFL MVP. I know he played UTEP but man did he put not only the Texas football team on his back but put the WHOLE STATE ON HIS BACK. 183 yards and 3 TUDDYS for Robinson on 20 carries, he had 9.3 yards per carry. Every time he touched the ball, it was almost a first down. Him behavior.

As Always Ya Boy,
